Paramount+ will have some panels at the San Diego Comic Con on Friday, July 23 at 10PM PST (1PM EST) part of the streamer’s “Peak Animation" block.
Star Trek: Prodigy
Developed by CBS Studios and Nickelodeon, Star Trek: Prodigy is the first animated Trek show designed for children. The CG-animated show will follow a group of six young aliens working together to navigate the galaxy in search of a better future. Attending the panel are seven members of the voice cast: Voyager veteran Kate Mulgrew (who reprises her role as Captain Janeway), Brett Gray, Ella Purnell, Angus Imrie, Rylee Alazraqui, Dee Bradley Baker and Jason Mantzoukas. They will be joined by executive producers Kevin Hageman and Dan Hageman, and director/co-executive producer Ben Hibon.
Star Trek: Lower Decks
Ahead of season two premiere on August 12, the cast and crew of Star Trek: Lower Decks will be part of the panel to offer a new look at the upcoming episodes. Voice actors Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid and Eugene Cordero will be present, alongside the show’s creator, Mike McMahan.
The Harper House
The Harper House is a new adult animated comedy from Paramount, following an overconfident woman and head of a household as she struggle to regain a higher status for herself and her family after loosing her job. In an effort to save money, she has moved into a Victorian fixer-upper known as Harper House. The panel will feature Rhea Seehorn, Jason Lee and Ryan Flynn with additional special appearances from VyVy Nguyen, Lance Krall, Gary Anthony Williams, Nyima Funk and Gabourey Sidibe. Creator/Executive Producer Brad Neely will also be present, alongside Executive Producer Katie Krentz and Supervising Director Brian Sheesley.
Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out The News
The second season of Colbert’s latest show is still ongoing. It’s a satirical news cartoon led by anchor James Smartwood, who interviews real-world guests. New skits are available daily, and are stitched together as a full episode each week, available on Paramount+. The show will be reporting on the latest stories from Comic-Con@Home.
