'The Thundermans Return' Goes Long-Term With New Series Starring Phoebe, Max, And Chloe

  The Thundermans   are staying in production living a double life. Fresh off the apparent success of the reunion movie  The Thundermans Return , the  Nickelodeon  superhero franchise is expanding again with a new series greenlight from Nickelodeon Studios, coming to both Nickelodeon and  Paramount+ . The new series, which hasn’t had its title revealed, will follow  Kira Kosarin  as Phoebe and Jack Griffo as Max Thunderman who are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the seaside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe, played once again by Maya Le Clark, along to train her in superheroing. It seems Chloe will infiltrate the school the threat seems to be coming from, and she forms a bond with two classmates while they investigate the suspicious activity from within, and her new friends don’t know about her powers. 'Fatal Attraction' Reboot Officially Picked Up by Paramount+; Lizzy Caplan to Star


Well, we're finally getting some updates on some developing reboots for Paramount+.
Paramount+ has ordered the TV adaptation of 'Fatal Attraction'. Lizzy Caplan ("Castle Rock," "Masters of Sex") is set to star as Alex, the full cast will be announced later.

Fox had attempted a series version of 'Fatal Attraction' in 2015 but the project was canned.

This is one of the few reboots Paramount Television Studios has in store for Paramount+. This and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies are the only series There's still more currently in development including Flashdance, The Italian Job, and Love Story.

A deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and '80s cultural touchstone, the new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity, through the lens of modern attitudes towards strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.
 
Alexandra Cunningham ("Dirty John," "Chance") serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on the series alongside executive producer Kevin J. Hynes ("Perry Mason"), with whom Cunningham shares co-story credit, and executive producers Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television.

"Alexandra brings an incredibly strong and nuanced point of view to a story that became a cultural phenomenon, but has thus far only been told from the male gaze," said Nicole Clemens, President, Paramount+ Original Scripted Series. "Partnered with Kevin, they will bring the next explosive chapter of this story to a new generation, with a balanced eye to the complexities of the human psyche."
