Paramount+ recently released the official trailer for the second season of Joe Pickett, the former Spectrum original now their own. It stars Michael Dorman as Pickett. The actor is known otherwise for starring in the first two seasons of For All Mankind and appearing in 2020's The Invisible Man.

The season's synopsis reads “Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett discovers a hunter murdered in the mountains and realizes [that hunter] is just one [victim] of a series of gruesome murders. To solve the case and catch the killer, Joe must navigate a radical anti-hunting activist, a ghoulish set of twins living off the grid, and his own tortured past. Joe and his wife, Marybeth, discover that the murdered men weren’t as innocent as they seemed. But when they dig too deep, they are forced to go on the run and fight for their very lives.”

While searching for the missing hunter, he's out long enough that Marybeth, played by Julianna Guill worries about his whereabouts. He gets shot and the killer leaves behind poker chips as their signature. With anti-hunting activist rallies held by a person of interest that some consider a cult leader, he visits Vern Dunnegan in prison to get more information. As answering the who of it all stagnates, things get incredibly tense, putting everyone on edge. Aside from Dorman and Guill, the series stars Skywalker Hughes and Kamryn Pliva as their daughters Sheridan and Lucy, Sharon Lawrence as Missy Vankeuren, Paul Sparks as Wacey Hedeman, Mustafa Speaks as Nate Romanowski, David Alan Grier as the aforementioned Vern Dunnegan, and the newly promoted quartet of Vivienne Guynn as April Keeley, Chad Rook as Deputy McLanahan, Aadila Dosani as Deputy Cricket Ludlow, and Keean Johnson as Luke Brueggeman.

Based on C.J. Box’s bestselling novel series of the same name, Joe Pickett is executive produced and directed by its showrunners John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle, as well as Box, with Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher from Red Wagon Entertainment. All ten episodes of Season 1 are available for streaming on Paramount+. Season 2 premieres on the platform on June 4 with the first two episodes, and weekly releases thereafter.
