'Tulsa King' Gets Season 3 Premiere Date As 'NOLA King' Spinoff Ordered To Series

  The new kingdom is officially coming to Paramount+ , and the foundation setter is almost ready to play. The third season of Tulsa King starring Sylvester Stallone has been given a premiere date of Sunday, September 21 (do you remember?), after ensuring that the Samuel L. Jackson-led spinoff it sets up over the course of it, NOLA King actually leads to something, ordering it to series two weeks ago on July 17. Episodes will drop weekly for the season whose logline reads  “As Dwight’s (Sylvester Stallone) empire expands, so do his enemies – and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.” The season also stars  Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden,...

‘School Spirits’ Renewed for Season 2

 

Paramount+ has renewed their hit teen drama series School Spirits for a second season. The series stars Cobra Kai's Peyton List a murdered teen girl investigating her own death while still attending high school in the afterlife, and what she finds as she solves it is more secrets and lies.

The cast also includes Zombies's Milo Manheim as Wally Clark, Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole Herrera, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley and Rainbow Wedell as Claire Zomer.

While not sharing any specific data, Paramount+ and Paramount Streaming chief marketing officer and head of data Dominic DiMeglio claimed that the series ranked as its top young adult series on the service during its eight-episode first season, which premiered on March 9 and ran through April 12. Speaking on the success and renewal of the series, Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, executive vice presidents and co-heads for Nickelodeon and Awesomeness live-action series and films say “School Spirits has captivated audiences with its gripping storyline, engaging characters, and the enigmatic world of high school life, and we are thrilled to bring a second season to this loyal fan base across Paramount+. Maddie’s quest to unravel the truth behind her mysterious disappearance has resonated with viewers, and we can’t wait to continue this thrilling journey with them.” 

The graphic novel on which the series is based by Nate Trinrud, Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen is still set for a November 14 release. The series is produced by Awesomeness Studios while the Trinuds serve as writers and executive producers. They also wrote the pilot. Oliver Goldstick serves as showrunner and executive producer. Season 2 will not go into production until 2024, likely due at least in part to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike and potential ones for the Directors Guild of America and the actors in SAG-AFTRA.
