The newly developed 'Fairly OddParents' live-action remake has some new updates.

The new show will begin filming by the end of June in Los Angeles.

Butch Hartman, the creator of the original animated Fairly OddParents show will executive produce this revival alongside Fred Siebert. Nickelodeon veteran Christopher J. Nowak has been hired as the showrunner.

As per the details from DiscussingFilm, "Although this new iteration is expected to follow the same general plot as the original animated show, still being set in the iconic Dimmsdale location for instance, it is still expected to spice up the lore by adding new characters while also changing the origins of existing ones in order to keep the series fresh for both new and older audiences."
