'Happy Face' Brings In The Kids And A Recurring David Harewood

The upcoming Paramount+ drama series Happy Face has found all of its series regulars and jonesed for its recurring talk show host and Melissa’s boss. The final series regulars found are  Khiyla Aynne   and Benjamin Mackey, while Supergirl alum David Harewood is racking in the ratings. As one could surmise, Aynne and Mackey play Melissa (played by Annaleigh Ashford )’s kids with husband Ben, played by James Wolk . Specifically, Aynne  plays Hazel, their  secure and happy  15-year-old daughter who initially believes that her mother is off on a simple business trip. However,  she soon starts suspecting that something dire is going on, beginning to investigate and uncover the shocking circumstances of her mother’s past.  Mackey plays  lively   9-year-old Max, who takes his stable upbringing for granted and doesn’t grow his older sister’s suspicions regarding mom’s sudden absence. iCarly Revival Review

The new iCarly just premiered and you may be wondering if it's worth watching.

NOTE: Spoilers Ahead; If you want to see the show before reading, click here.

The show has a very different vibe than the original as it's more towards young adults. The show even opens with Spencer being naked in the living room. The new characters Harper and Millicent both have their special entities in the show that makes them unique.

Carly wants to start iCarly again but she's struggling with her life decisions like dating. She gets help from her new friend and roommate Harper. She's really optimistic as she tries to help Carly look at the bright side of things.

Freddie, now a father, suffered the most as he's in a second divorce and now living with his mom. His daughter Millicent hates Carly and brags about taking down iCarly and its fans.

Spencer, the most successful one, is having a time in his life while still doing his crazy antics.

Both Freddie and Spencer want to help Carly bring back the show however they can; thus, iCarly was reborn.

Overall, it's a great revival that reintroduces fans to iCarly in a new way. And I think they did it in a great way. The show will premiere new episodes weekly on Thursdays' for 10 weeks.

What do you think about the iCarly revival?
