'Tulsa King' Gets Season 3 Premiere Date As 'NOLA King' Spinoff Ordered To Series

The new kingdom is officially coming to Paramount+ , and the foundation setter is almost ready to play. The third season of Tulsa King starring Sylvester Stallone has been given a premiere date of Sunday, September 21 (do you remember?), after ensuring that the Samuel L. Jackson-led spinoff it sets up over the course of it, NOLA King actually leads to something, ordering it to series two weeks ago on July 17. Episodes will drop weekly for the season whose logline reads  “As Dwight’s (Sylvester Stallone) empire expands, so do his enemies – and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.” The season also stars  Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden,...

Kendrick Lamar's Working with South Park's Trey Parker & Matt Stone for LIVE-ACTION Comedy Film

Kendrick Lamar & Dave Free's media production company pgLang, is teaming up with South Park creators Matt Stone & Trey Parker for a currently untitled live-action comedy film, set to be released in theaters.

The screenplay will be written by producer, writer and multiple [adult swim] series creator, Vernon Chatman, whose credits include: Wonder Showzen, The Shivering Truth, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Chris Rock Show and being the voice of Towlie on South Park.

The official plot synopsis for the film reads, "Past and present come to a head when a young Black man who is interning as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum discovers that his white girlfriend's ancestors once owned his."

Paramount Pictures will be handling the theatrical distribution and with the streaming rights to the film will most likely (if not assuredly) arrive on Paramount's own streaming platform, Paramount+. It is currently unknown whether we will see it arrive on the service the same-day as the theatrical release and whether or not there would be a fee to purchase or rent, however with the service sitting as the digital home to it's properties I personally and firmly believe it will be available the same-day or at least sooner, rather than later after it hits the big screen.

Brian Robbins, President & CEO of Paramount Pictures released this statement with the press release, "On behalf of Paramount Pictures and the wider ViacomCBS family, we look forward to ushering in the first theatrical collaboration from these creative visionaries, and galvanizing audiences worldwide around a powerful storytelling experience."

Public outcry has already begun on Twitter amid this announcement, so upon the release of the trailer we could see this film fully grasp the internet's attention the way Seth Rogen's The Interview did back in 2014.

Production on the film is set to begin in Spring 2022 or possibly 2023, according to multiple reports.

Stay tuned for updates on this and more films planned to stream in the future directly to Paramount+!
