Hit Australian Comedy 'Colin From Accounts' Coming In November

Colin From Accounts, a comedy series original to the Australian streaming service Binge, is coming to Paramount+ in the United States. Two episodes will premiere on Thursday, November 9 and the three subsequent weeks after until it finishes all eight episodes of the first season.

Binge, owned by Foxtel Media Group, recently renewed Colin From Accounts for a second season just last month. The first released all at once on the streamer on December 1, 2022. It's about Ashley, played by Harriet Dyer, and Gordon, played by Patrick Brammall, two single-ish, complex, flawed, funny humans who are brought together by a nipple flash, a car accident and an injured dog. Ultimately, the pair, navigating life together, choose each other and become brave enough to show their true selves, trauma, imperfections, and all.

It’s apparently not that much of a surprise that the series landed at Paramount+. It is produced by CBS Studios, in association with Easy Tiger Productions, and is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution. The BBC picked it up in the United Kingdom.

Helen Thomson, Genevieve Hegney, Emma Harvie, Michael Logo and Tai Hara also star. The two leads also serve as executive producers with Alison Hurbert-Burns, Brian Walsh, Trent O’Donnell, Rob Gibson and Ian Collie.

Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President of Content & Business Operations at Paramount Streaming said "Colin From Accounts has already stolen the hearts of international audiences with its irresistible blend of lovable characters, endearing storylines and the perfect balance of modern-day romance and comedy, We are beyond thrilled to call Paramount+ the streaming home of the series here in the U.S. as it joins our growing slate of originals." Binge's trailer for the series can be watched below.
