'The Thundermans Return' Goes Long-Term With New Series Starring Phoebe, Max, And Chloe

  The Thundermans   are staying in production living a double life. Fresh off the apparent success of the reunion movie  The Thundermans Return , the  Nickelodeon  superhero franchise is expanding again with a new series greenlight from Nickelodeon Studios, coming to both Nickelodeon and  Paramount+ . The new series, which hasn’t had its title revealed, will follow  Kira Kosarin  as Phoebe and Jack Griffo as Max Thunderman who are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the seaside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe, played once again by Maya Le Clark, along to train her in superheroing. It seems Chloe will infiltrate the school the threat seems to be coming from, and she forms a bond with two classmates while they investigate the suspicious activity from within, and her new friends don’t know about her powers. Stephen Moyer-Starring Prequel Series 'Sexy Beast' Gets Premiere Date And Trailer


Paramount+ has set the release date and unleashed the trailer for Sexy Beast, the prequel series for the 2000 British gangster film of the same name. This series adaptation stars James McArdle, Emun Elliott, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Moyer and Sarah Greene. The series will premiere exclusively on the service in the United State and all international territories were available on January 25.

McArdle and Elliott step into the roles of Gary "Gal” Dove and Don Logan, originally played by Ray Winstone and Ben Kingsley. This prequel explores their complicated relationship as small town thieves and best friends finding themselves falling into London’s mad criminal world during the vibrant and volatile 1990s. Gal’s emerging relationship with adult film star Deedee, played by Greene threatens everything as she endangers herself with “ambitions to control her own personal destiny”Moyer, probably most familiar to a millennial audience for starring on the HBO series True Blood, plays Teddy Bass, a treacherous, up-and-coming gangster, who manages to ensnare Gal and Don into this criminal network, while Greig is Don’s older sister Cecilia, described as pathologically controlling and formidable.

“I feel very fortunate to be a part of this world,” said series star McArdle. “The original story leaves so much space for us all to wonder what happened within Gal and Don’s friendship in the years prior. I’m looking forward to everyone being able to rediscover these characters and find out.” The cast also includes Eliza Bennett, Clea Martin, Nicholas Nunn, Peter Ferdinando, John Dagleish, Robbie Gee, Paul Kaye, Lex Shrapnel, Cally Lawrence, David Kennedy, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Ralph Brown, Nitin Ganatra and Alice Bailey Johnson. The Paramount Global-owned series has a litany of executive producers including the film’s original writers David Scinto and Louis Mellis. Watch the trailer below.
