'No Time To Spy: A Loud House Movie' Trailer Released, Premiere Date Set
It’s movie time again for The Loud House. After over a month of running TV spots that began running to coincide with the release of Knuckles, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ have released the trailer for No Time To Spy: A Loud House Movie. It premieres on Friday, June 21 on Paramount+ with a 7 PM ET/PT Nickelodeon airing.
Lacking the “cartoon movie shading” that is oft-mocked but was present in both 2021’s The Loud House Movie and this year’s The Casagrandes Movie, the movie of its first spinoff The Casagrandes, this definitely seems to be more in the way of TV movies like The Fairly OddParents’ “Channel Chasers” and its ilk. It will see the Loud family’s tropical getaway turn into a super-sleuth adventure as the ultimate spy mission. As the official synopsis puts it “Lincoln and the Louds are ecstatic to welcome their new Gran-Gran, Myrtle, into the family with a tropical wedding celebration, but the festivities are cut short when an old nemesis from Myrtle’s secret agent past appears on the island. After Myrtle is taken, Lincoln leads his family on the super spy mission of his dreams to save her… and the world!”
These days Bentley Griffin is the voice of Lincoln Loud and Jaeden White is the voice of his best friend Clyde McBride. Grandpa Pop Pop is voiced by Piotr Michael, taking on the role in late season 5 in the wake of original voice actor Fred Willard’s death. His spirited new wife Myrtle is voiced by Alex Cazares. The rest of the Loud family remains the same: Jill Talley as Rita Loud; Brian Stepanek as Lynn Loud Sr.; Catherine Taber as Lori; Liliana Mumy as Leni; Nika Futterman as Luna; Cristina Pucelli as Luan; Jessica DiCicco as Lynn and Lucy; Grey DeLisle as Lola, Lana and Lily; and Lara Jill Miller as Lisa.
Starting Monday, June 3, Nickelodeon will lead up to the premiere of the movie with new episodes of both The Loud House and its live action spinoff series The Really Loud Housein the 7 PM time slot. For the animated series, the first week will presumably finish out season 7, as season 8 will start airing the following week of June 10. That first week looks like this:
Monday, June 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. - “Homeward Bound”: When Lori takes a gap year from college, the Loud kids are determined to have her move back in with them. (#801A; season 8 premiere)
Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. - “Pressure Cooker”: Royal Woods' best bakers, Clyde and Nana Gayle, decide to get their own food truck together. (#801B)
Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. - Steeling Thunder: To win their school film festival, Lincoln and Clyde cast Lynn as their movie’s extreme stunt double. (#802A)
Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. - Be Careful What You Fish For: A fishing trip with Gramps turns into an obsessive chase when Gramps' old fish rival, Moby Rick, swims nearby. (#802B)
While the movie will be getting its same-day Paramount+ premiere, a timetable forseason 7 of the series to arrive on the service has not been given. This also gives the service its first animated Loud House movies, losing out on The Loud House Movie and The Casagrandes Movie to Netflix. Only the live action movies, A Loud House Christmasand A Really Haunted Loud House have been any semblance of Paramount+ originals. The Loud House is executive produced by Michael Rubiner while Kyle Marshall is co-executive producer and Ashley Kliment-Baker is the art director. For No Time To Spy, Marshall directs, Rubiner continues to executive produce. Production is overseen by Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President of TV Series Animation at Nickelodeon, and Kelley Gardner, Vice President of Current Series in the Animation department. The movie is overseen by Executives in Charge Jason McConnell and Nora Kroopf.
