Paramount+ Original Films 'Snow Day' And 'Fantasy Football' Among More Removed Titles

The culling of Paramount+ has turned out to be far bigger than was initially thought. When the cancellations and imminent removals of Star Trek: Prodigy, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, The Game, and Queen of the Universe were being reported, there were a few other titles that were being floated around, but no one was expecting it to hit where it has.

Paramount+ original movies Snow Day and Fantasy Footballwhich both come from Nickelodeon Movies, have been removed. The former is the musical directed by Michael Lembeck, starring Michaela Russell, Ky Baldwin, Rob Huebel, Laura Bell Bundy, and Jerry Trainor that is a remake of the 2000 film of the same name, and the latter was directed by Anton Cropper, and starring Marsai Martin, Omari Hardwick, and Kelly Rowland.

Original series that have been removed include the docuseries From Cradle to Stage, directed by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl and based on his mother’s book, the Ghislaine Maxwell docuseries Ghislaine: Partner in Crime, and the two-season anthology series from Kevin Williamson Tell Me A Story, which was an original series from when the service was still CBS All Access. What straddles the line between original and library content is Inside Amy Schumer, whose first four seasons ran on Comedy Central while the contractually-obligated fifth season after a six-year hiatus ran last year on Paramount+. Now, all five seasons have been removed.

As far as library content, Nickelodeon was hit near-exclusively, with All In With Cam Newton, Allegra’s Window, Becca’s Bunch, Bella and the Bulldogs, Crashletes, Digby Dragon, The Fresh Beat Band, The Halo Effect, Legendary Dudas, Monsters vs. Aliens, Mutt & Stuff, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Peter Rabbit, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, Ride and The Troop all being removed. In addition, the third and fourth seasons of Big Time Rush have also been removed. While that show isn't on American Netflix anymore at all, Bella and the Bulldogs and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn are still there in their entireties. Unfortunately, the other shows aren't so lucky.

In addition, other Paramount+ movies that are set to be removed on Thursday, June 29 are Infinite with Mark Wahlberg, On the Come Up, and Secret Headquarters, starring Owen Wilson and The Adam Project's Walker Scobell, who will be starring as Percy Jackson in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Disney+ series.
