'Happy Face' Brings In The Kids And A Recurring David Harewood

  The upcoming Paramount+ drama series Happy Face has found all of its series regulars and jonesed for its recurring talk show host and Melissa’s boss. The final series regulars found are  Khiyla Aynne   and Benjamin Mackey, while Supergirl alum David Harewood is racking in the ratings. As one could surmise, Aynne and Mackey play Melissa (played by Annaleigh Ashford )’s kids with husband Ben, played by James Wolk . Specifically, Aynne  plays Hazel, their  secure and happy  15-year-old daughter who initially believes that her mother is off on a simple business trip. However,  she soon starts suspecting that something dire is going on, beginning to investigate and uncover the shocking circumstances of her mother’s past.  Mackey plays  lively   9-year-old Max, who takes his stable upbringing for granted and doesn’t grow his older sister’s suspicions regarding mom’s sudden absence. He instead steadfastly believes she’s producing some sort of on-location segment for  The Dr. Greg Show . A

'The Thundermans Return' Sneak Peek Clip Released

 


Paramount+ and Nickelodeon have released a hefty sneak peek clip from The Thundermans Returnthe revival movie for their 2013-2018 superhero sitcom The Thundermans. Originally shared on socials by stars and executive producers Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo, the peek also aired following the series finale of Danger Force, pushing a new episode of That Girl Lay Lay its couple of minutes.

The clip sees the Thundermans arrive back at their Hiddenville home, still in disbelief that they’re back at all and how little about the house has changed. Phoebe and Max are definitely dejected about the circumstances, Nora and Billy are ready to shop for their high school lives, while Hank gets reacquainted with the couch. But hey, Max wants to check out his old lair, and he finds Dr. Colosso partying it up with his animal friends. Throughout, they’re talking about how they’re replaced by “The V Team” in a rather suspicious manner. Maaaaaybe there’s sabotage to uncovered. Colosso and Phoebe have a semi-supportive moment before she says she’s going to figure out a way to help Hiddenville again while they’re here.

The Thundermans Return also stars Addison Riecke as Nora and Diego Velazquez as Billy, and Rosa Blasi as Barb and Chris Tallman as Hank, as well as Maya Le Clark as youngest child Chloe. With Harvey Guillén returning as Blobbin and Dana Snyder as Dr. Colosso, they’re just two of a bunch of promised returning favorites. Series creator and executive producer Jed Spingarn also writes The Thundermans Return, which is directed by Trevor Kirschner, who previously directed episodes of the series. The other executive producers are Dan Cross and David Hoge. The film premieres on March 7 on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.
