'The Chi' Renewed For Season 7

  As The Chi   season 6 returns for part 2 this Friday, May 10 on the Paramount+ with Showtime streamer and Sunday, May 12 linearly at 9 PM ET/PT,  the network has renewed the series for a seventh season. The first half of season 6 has done quite well, making for its most-watched season yet for streaming,  increasing nearly 25% over season 5. Season 7  will start production later this month in Chicago. “Lena Waithe is a generational storyteller, whose authentic and unflinching narratives in  The Chi  resonate deeply, offering a powerful lens into both the complexities of life in Chicago as well as the Black experience in America,” said Nina L. 'NCIS: Sydney' Trailer Sees Two Teams Hop Into Battle Down Under

Fresh off the announcement that NCIS: Sydney would be on CBS’s fall schedule, the first look trailer for the series got out the day after on the NCIS YouTube channel. The series is stepping in with fresh episodes while both the mothership and Hawai’i wait to be able to film again while the studios refuse to negotiate a fair deal with actors and writers.

The trailer boasts the international expansion of the franchise and the sights that Australia provides. It’s peeking at different cases and some bickering between Casey and Mackey. There’s a venomous snake and an abandoned pay phone off the hook. They know the terrorists they must track. NCIS: Sydney sees rising international tensions in the Indo-Pacific. The brilliant and eclectic team of United States NCIS Agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are grafted into a multi-national taskforce, to keep naval crimes in check, in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.

NCIS: Sydney stars Legends of Tomorrow's Olivia Swann as NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey. She is teamed with co-lead Todd Lasance as Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey, as well as Sean Sagar as NCIS Special Agent DeShawn Jackson, Tuuli Narkle as AFP Liaison Officer Constable Evie Cooper; Shantaram's Mavournee Hazel as AFP Forensic Scientist Bluebird "Blue" Gleeson and William McInnes as AFP Forensic Pathologist Dr. Roy Penrose. Morgan O’Neill created the series and executive produces with Sara Richardson and Sue Seeary.
