Next 'South Park' Special Fattens Up In 'The End Of Obesity'; Watch Trailer

  Where in the world is season 27 of South Park ? The public certainly doesn’t know. If the trades do, they’re not saying. But somehow, the next Paramount+ special is coming anyway, specifically next week. The streamer has announced “The End of Obesity” will take South Park on an Ozempic tale when it premieres May 24 in the United States and Canada, and May 25 in Australia, Latin America, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It’s somewhat better advance notice than what the previous special “ (Not Suitable For Children) ” received, as while it had “print” ads on websites and its trailer ran on YouTube , it wasn’t officially released and properly uploaded until the day of its December 20 release. Paramount+ Canada Has Completed Its 'Star Trek' Rollout

On August 1, Paramount+ declared that it was Canada's streaming home for all most things Star Trek (hi Prodigy, we see you), with over 800 episodes and 12 movies finally uniting on the service over the next several weeks. 

Following Strange New Worlds's arrival, releasing "Subspace Rhapsody" two days later, and presumably finished its season the following week. From August 8's posting of The Next Generation, complete series postings went chronological until yesterday, September 5, when it jumped back to the beginning with The Original Series and The Animated Series, arriving with the returning Star Trek: The Director's Cut of the original motion picture. Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard were already present on the service.

Paramount+ Canada is now not only home to every Star Trek series and movie that can legally be on there, but upcoming Star Trek productions including series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy and the movie event Star Trek: Section 31.

Previously, Strange New Worlds, Prodigy, Discovery, Picard and The Next Generation were available to stream on Bell Media’s streaming service, Crave. New episodes of Picard and Discovery also aired on CTV Sci-Fi Channel.

“Our licensing agreement to deliver Star Trek titles on Crave has changed. However, CTV Sci-Fi continues to be the exclusive Canadian broadcast home of Star Trek, and this content will continue to live on CTV.ca and the CTV app,” Bell Media confirmed in a statement. “New episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds continue to be available on Crave, while other Star Trek content has been phased out and will no longer be available on Crave effective August 1.”
