'SkyMed' Season 2 Trailer Released

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has released the trailer for the second season of its hourlong medical drama SkyMed, which Paramount+ streams in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Latin America, Brazil, Italy and Germany.

Created by Julie Puckrin, the series airs domestically on CBC and streams on CBC Gem, where the second season begins on October 1 at 9PM. A group of young medics and pilots fly air ambulances in remote northern Canada, facing challenges and score victories on their journey of maturation and saving lives. Season two commences in a snowy spring where the returning characters move into a new Crew House, meeting the new crew members to aid in medical emergencies in both Manitoba and Ontario.

The name in the cast most familiar to United States audiences is Aaron Ashmore, whose previous starring credits include Smallville, Warehouse 13, and Killjoys. The series stars Natasha Calis, Morgan Holmstrom, Praneet Akilla, Aason Nadjiwan, Mercedes Morris, Thomas Elms, Kheon Clarke, Braeden Clark, Emilia McCarthy, Sydney Kuhne, Ryan Ali and Nadine Whiteman Rodman with Ashmore mixed in. Since this is just the season trailer by the CBC, it is possible that Paramount+ will produce an entirely different trailer once it's time for SkyMed season 2 to stream on the platform, but it still felt right to share.

SkyMed is produced by Piazza Entertainment in association with CBC and CBS Studios, and Paramount Global Content Distribution has international sales rights.
