The Thundermans are staying in production living a double life. Fresh off the apparent success of the reunion movie The Thundermans Return , the Nickelodeon superhero franchise is expanding again with a new series greenlight from Nickelodeon Studios, coming to both Nickelodeon and Paramount+ . The new series, which hasn’t had its title revealed, will follow Kira Kosarin as Phoebe and Jack Griffo as Max Thunderman who are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the seaside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe, played once again by Maya Le Clark, along to train her in superheroing. It seems Chloe will infiltrate the school the threat seems to be coming from, and she forms a bond with two classmates while they investigate the suspicious activity from within, and her new friends don’t know about her powers. 'Frasier' Revival Premiere Episode Descriptions Released
We are now two days away from the premiere of Paramount+’s Frasierrevival, premiering this Thursday, October 12. The streamer has released the episode descriptions for the two episodes that will kick it off. These episodes are also the ones that will get the special airing on CBS on Tuesday, October 17 at 9:15 p.m. ET/PT.
Episode 1: “The Good Father”
Following Martin’s death, Frasier returns to Boston for a college lecture and to check in on his son, Freddy—whom he quickly suspects is keeping a secret from him.
Episode 2: “Moving In”
Frasier hopes to make up for lost time with Freddy, but a disagreement over where to put a small Red Sox souvenir quickly escalates into a battle of wills between father and son.
Indeed, Martin’s death seems to be fresh, and the Red Sox are more present in Frasier’s mind again. “The Good Father” is an intentional mirror to the original series premiere, which was titled “The Good Son”. These episodes are directed by legendary director and television creator James Burrows, who was co-creator, executive producer and director of Frasier’s debut series Cheers, and directed dozens of original Frasier series episodes.
The season’s general synopsis covers his next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. He stars with Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier’s son Freddy; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor Alan; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew, Niles and Daphne’s son David.
Following the two-episode premiere, single episodes will continue to roll out weekly in the United States and Canada. Internationally, rollout will be identical, but on Fridays. “The Good Father” and “Moving In” release the day after, October 13, and each subsequent episode similarly releases the day after their domestic releases. The new series comes from writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who executive produce with Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. The series is produced by CBS Studios, in association with Grammer’s Grammnet NH Productions, and its look Inside the Series can be watched below.
