'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem' Streams At The Top Of Its Lungs On September 19

Paramount+ has rather promptly answered if you can stream Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem on the service. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday September 19, the answer is yes, you can in the United States and Canada.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was released theatrically on August 2, 2023, and, as a Wednesday release, made $43,081,012 on its opening five days domestically, nearly 1.5x its projections. Through seven weekends it has only just fallen to tenth place at the box office. Worldwide, the film has a total gross of $167.2 million, a $114.1 million/$53.1 million split between US & Canada and international. Its September 19 Paramount+ arrival would be on day 49 since its release, meaning like with this year’s previous releases, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Scream VI and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves it sticks as close as possible to the 45-day windows. A sequel is already in the works along with a 2D 2-season animated series bridging the films, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

As the synopsis goes, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtles set out to befriend of New Yorkers and seek acceptance as normal teenagers through heroism. Meeting April O’Neil, she helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, comprised of an army of mutants as their leader is unleashed upon them. The film’s release on digital storefronts occurred on September 1.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is directed by Jeff Rowe and stars Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Micah Abbey as Donatello, Brady Noon as Raphael, and Jackie Chan as Splinter. Ayo Edibiri also stars as April O’Neil, while Giancarlo Esposito is Baxter Stockman, Ice Cube is Superfly, executive producer Seth Rogen and John Cena are Bebop and Rocksteady, Paul Rudd is Mondo Gecko, Natasia Demetriou is Wing Nut, Post Malone is Ray Fillet, Hannibal Burress is Genghis Frog, and Rose Byrne is Leatherhead.
